Art Sale Benefits Capuchin Community Services
Thank you to local Milwaukee artist Tony Busalacchi for his art sale "Art from the Heart" on October 19 benefiting Capuchin Community Services. To date, he and his wife Pat have raised over $200,000 for CCS through these ongoing events.
Renovations on Solanus Casey Museum Underway
The museum at the Solanus Casey Center will be reopening in 2025 with a completely new look for the first time since its grand opening in 2002. During construction, a mobile museum is being launched and will be touring sites around the country.
Running Friar Supports Soup Kitchen in Race
Friar John Celichowski, OFM Cap., along with other generous runners, selected Capuchin Soup Kitchen as charity partner for the annual Detroit Free Press Marathon. Fr. John ran the international half marathon during race weekend October 18-20, 2024.
Provincial Leaders Attend General Chapter, Meet Pope Francis
Friars Mark Joseph Costello, OFM Cap. and John Celichowski, OFM Cap. attended the General Chapter in Rome in August/September 2024. Capuchin General Minister Roberto Genuin, OFM Cap. was re-elected to another term and the friars had an opportunity to meet the His Holiness Pope Francis.
