Two Friars join Transitional Diaconate
The Province celebrated the ordination of two transitional deacons at a ceremony at St. Bonaventure Chapel in Detroit: Br. Alwin Anthonysamy and Br. Baudry Metangmo. We pray for their continued priestly formation.
Br. Nathan Linton Assigned Vocations Director
Br. Nathan has accepted a new assignment as the Director of Vocations. Br. Nathan is based at St. Francis of Assisi Monastery in Milwaukee. Pray for Br. Nathan and for vocations to Capuchin religious life in our Province and around the world!
Br. Daniel Professes Perpetual Vows
We congratulate Br. Daniel Viyakularaj as he professes his solemn vows as a Capuchin. Br. Daniel professed his vows at Capuchin Retreat in a livestreamed celebration allowing family and friends from around the world to be part of the joyous event.
Provincial Retreat Focuses on Small Groups
The 2024 Provincial Retreat is taking on a different format this year. Friars will now gather in small groups throughout the year at different times and locations, allowing a more flexible schedule for those in ministry. This year’s facilitator is Franciscan author Jon M. Sweeney.
